Privacy Policy

Important: This document is a general information template prepared for Kash Budget. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before launch.

Everest Financial ("Everest Financial", "we", "us", or "our") operates Kash Budget, a private personal-finance tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app and its related services.

1. Information we collect

Kash Budget does not require bank connections, full payment-card numbers, or bank-account credentials. Please do not enter sensitive information that the app does not request.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account, store and display your finance records, calculate summaries such as spending and net worth, provide customer support, prevent abuse, maintain service reliability, and comply with applicable law.

3. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share the minimum information needed with providers that help us operate the service, including managed PostgreSQL hosting and application hosting, subscription-entitlement services such as RevenueCat when Premium is enabled, Apple or Google for in-app purchase processing, and the managed AI service used to answer Kash Coach questions when you choose to use that Premium feature. Kash Coach receives the relevant finance snapshot, conversation history, and your question; do not include passwords, full card numbers, security codes, or account credentials. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

The Free plan may include advertising after the advertising feature is launched. Before advertising is enabled, we will identify the relevant provider and update this Policy with the categories of identifiers and usage information it receives. We may also use aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics to understand product performance.

4. Storage and security

Finance records are stored in user-scoped PostgreSQL records. Passwords are stored as one-way scrypt hashes, and session tokens are protected by server-side hashing. We use access controls and encrypted connections where supported. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your password private and sign out of shared devices.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain account and finance information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting info@productiontracker.ca. We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

6. Subscriptions

Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription priced at $0.99 USD per month or $5.99 USD per year, subject to applicable taxes, store pricing, and availability. Apple or Google processes the purchase and manages cancellation and refunds. Subscription status may be shared with the entitlement service used to provide Premium access. We do not receive your full payment-card number from the app stores.

7. Children

Kash Budget is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and delete the account where appropriate.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, and to ask questions about processing. Contact us at info@productiontracker.ca. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the service, providers, advertising, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice for material changes.
